If you don’t know how competition operates in you then it will most certainly be operating under the table, unseen, and in ways that actively diminish you or others or both.

Competition is such a massive cultural imprint that we don’t just get to escape it because we’re super alternative. Competition is not just going to be set aside because of some self development work, therapy, or ceremonies we’ve done to release it.

Because competition is the overwhelming agenda that is pushed in the mainstream (and has been for at least several millennia), we’re gonna have to develop strategies that we regularly implement in navigating the destructive elements of competition in our lives and relationships.

We’re going to need to learn to speak openly about our competitiveness and the stories of lack and not enough-ness that drive it.

Got Your Back Intimacy explores pathways of opening to mutually supporting each other and what it is possible when we do this. And yes it very much involves how we have each been injured by growing up in, and living in competitively driven cultures. How win/lose scenarios are deeply imprinted within our systems and are a big part of our wounding stories.

It’s time that we put all our status driven, hierarchical fueling, power over behaviours on the table and create a culture where we keep doing this.

And it’s not just mental gymnastics. We need to embody this process to release the grip of competition in our bodily system and daily living.

Got Your Back Intimacy is focused on you experiencing your back body, through touch, movement, breath, sound, connection & relating practices, and integrating your sexuality.

Got Your Back Intimacy guides you in building a resource of feeling supported in your back body. It guides you in returning the felt experience of belonging and freedom to your body, and as a deeply harmonious imprint to live from.

The first Got Your Back Intimacy event I’ll be offering is specifically for GBTQ+ men. There will be more Got Your Back Intimacy offerings for mixed gender groups coming soon.
